Chicken pathia / sweet and sour chicken curry



Ingrediants

Chicken 400 gm
Onion 2 medium size finley chopped
Tomatoes 2 small finely chopped
Crushed Garlic 2 tspn
Grated Ginger 1 tspn
Turmeric powder 1/3 tspn
Red chilli powder 1 tspn
Roasted Cumin powder 1 tspn
Green Chillies 2 Chopped
Tomato puree 1 tblspn
Bayleaf 1
Vinegar 1/2 tspn
Sugar or jaggery 1 tspn
1 Fresh Lime juiced
Salt to taste
Oil




Method


  1. Ek pan me oil garm karen. Usme bay leaf, grated ginger  aur crushed garlic add karn. Ab usme kati huyi pyaz aur turmeric powder daal kar golden brown hone tak fry karen.

  2. Ab usme chicken aur sath me salt add kare aur achchi tarah brown hone tak bhune.

  3. Ab usme kati huyi hari mirch , red chilli powder aur cumin powder add karen aur achchi tarah mix karen.

  4. Ab usme kate huye tamatar daal kar cook karen.

  5. Jab usme se oil alag hone lage tab usme tomato puree, vinegar, lime juice, sugar add karen aur zara sa pani daal den.

  6. 10- 12 min slow flame par pakaye aur flame off kar den. Aur naan ya rice ke saath serve kardi




  7. 1. Heat oil in a pan. Add crushed garlic , grated ginger and bay leaf saute well.




    2. Now add chopped onion , turmeric powder and fry until the mixture turns golden brown.




    3. Add the chicken and salt and fry till the chicken turns brown.




    4. Now add chopped green chilli, red chilli powder, cumin powder and  mix well.




    5.Add chopped tomatoes and fry until the oil sepred from the mixture.




    6. Now add tomato puree, vinegar, lime juice , sugar , and some water . Cook about 10- 12 min on low flame.. turn of the flame.




    7. Enjoy with naan or rice.
