Silky okra


Okra 15-16
Onion 1 medium size
Tomato 1 large
Curd 1/2 cup
Ginger-garlic paste 1 tblspn
Black pepper 4-5
Green cardamom 1
Clove 2
Garam masala Powder 1 tspn
Turmeric powder 1/2 tspn
Sugar 1/2 tblspn
Salt to taste
Salt to taste
Oil for fry


  1. Wash and cut the okra(bhindi) in two inch pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan,fry okra in it and set aside.
  3. Heat 2 tblspn oil in another pan add finally chopped onion,clove,cardemom and black pepper saute well.
  4. Add tomatoes stir continuously.add garam masala powder,red chili powder and turmeric powder mix well. turn off the flame .
  5. When the mixture became cool down make the smooth paste of it.
  6. Put fried okra in a pan add some salt and 2-3 tblspn water and cover it. Add paste cook about 3 to 4 minutes, switch off the flame.
