Ingredients
- 1/3 Cup residue of ghee
- 1/3 Cup sugar
- 1 Cup wheat flour
- 1/3 Cup water
- 1/4 Cup oil or ghee
- Oil or ghee to fry
Method
- Take residue of ghee, sugar, wheat flour and ghee in a bowl.
- Mix all the ingredients properly and knead the stiff dough using water.
- Roll dough into thick circle and and cut with cookie cutter.
- Now with a pen cap slightly press in middle to make small circle.
- With a fork gently press to make design. Make six small cuts. Now make petals.
- Heat oil in a kadhai. Put the khasta flowers in oil.
- Fry them to nice golden brown on low-medium flame. drain them on a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
- Finally, allow khasta to cool to room temperature and store them into an airtight container.
