Small size bhindi 250 gm
Chopped onion 1 medium
Chopped tomatoes 3 medium
Tomato puree 4 tblspn
Coriander chutney 1 tspn
Garlic cloves 2-3
Black pepper powder 1/4 tspn
Cumin powder 1 tspn
Cinnamon powder 1/4 tspn
Olive oil 1 tblspn


  1. Heat olive oil in a pan.Add onion saute till it turn pink.Crushed garlic cloves and add to the pan.
  2. Make puree of chopped tomatoes add to the pan and mix.
  3. Add black pepper powder, cinnamon powder, cumin powder, Tomato puree, green coriander chutney, 1/2 cup water and salt cook about 5-10 min. in low flame.
  4. Slit bhindi without cutting through, add in pan and mix. Cover and cook about 10 min. in low flame.
  5. Serve hot with chapaties.
