Dahi Bhindi

Dahi Bhindi is a spicy dish made by bhindi in yogurt gravy. it can be served with chapatis and  naan

Ingrediants

Bhindi 400 grams
Yogurt 1 and 1/2 Cup
Onion 2 Medium size finely chopped
Black Cardamom 1
Green Cardamom 1
Clove 1 - 2
Ginger-Garlic Paste 1 tblspn
Red Chilli Powder 1 tspn
Turmeric powder 1 tspn
Garam Masala Powder 1/2  tspn
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method

  1. Wash and dry the Bhindi cut into 2 inch peaces.
  2. Heat oil in kadai.add Bhindi pieces in it.deep fry it.
  3. For gravi heat some oil in a pan.Add onion cut into thin slices,black cardamom,green cardamom,clove Saute stirring occasionally, till the onions turn a slight brown.
  4. Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder , garam masala powder and salt mix well.
  5. Add whisk yogurt cook about 15 min in low flame.
  6. Add Bhindi and some water cook well.
