Curd Brinjal



Brinjals 2 cut in thin slice
Onion 1 large size chopped finely
Cumin Seeds 1tspn
Mustard Seeds 1tspn
Ginger-Garlic Paste 1 tblspn
Chilli Powder 1 tspn or to taste
Turmeric Powder 1 tspn
Garam Masala Powder 1/2tspn
Gram flour 1/2 tblspn
Cornflour 2 tblspn
Curd 2 Cup
Salt to taste


  1. whisk yogurt and gram flour together.
  2. Take brinjals add some cornflour and salt mix well.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadhai (wok). deep-fry brinjals till light brown. Drain and place on an absorbent paper.
  4. Heat two tablespoons oil in a pan.Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and onion saut well . 
  5. When onion become pink add ginger-garlic paste, termaric powder, chilli powder and garam masala powder and salt.Stir-fry briefly and immediately add the whisked yogurt. 
  6. Cook on medium heat for two to three minutes and add some water mix well. 
  7. Then add fried brinjals. Reduce heat and cook covered for three to four min.sprinckal some chaat masala on it an serve hot.
