Method
- Wash beetroots properly, peel and slice them length wise .
- Heat oil in a Cooker and add cumin seeds add chopped beetroot and mix well. Add in salt and mix well Place a lid and pressure cook about 15 min in low flame.
- Heat oil in a kadhai. Add musturd seeds ,onion saute well add ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
- Add tamarind pulp and mix well. Add in chili powder, salt, sugar, garam masala powder and mix well.
- Add curd and mix add 1cup water and bring this to boil.
- Add cooked beetroot and mix well. Cook about 5-6 min Serve with fried rice or chapati.
